Would you shut up with your Ohio State garbage. This is not the place to talk about it. The title of this forum should be clear enough.

If you want to talk about Ohio State go find some tOSU fan board and quit polluting the Tiger Rant with your Ohio State crap.

Watched a lot of film on Burrow? Right Keese? Why was it clear to 59% of Buckeye fans that Burrow would be named the starter?

Because they weren't at practice everyday.

Urban Meyer was at practice every day. He said it was too close to call.

Your problem is that you have swallowed (hook, line, and sinker) a false narrative from a half-dozen hack OSU beat writers who pimped Haskins over Burrow. Not one of these hacks ever played a down of organized football.

Meyer knows football. These local hacks are clueless.

None. At all. Except for the games I watched last season while he was at LSU.

I don't give a rat's arse who the "Buckeye" fans thought should be the starter. Bottom line is, Burrow had to have known he wasn't going to beat out Haskins for the starting position and decided to leave the program.

It makes no sense for him to leave otherwise in my opinion.

A lot of coaches say QB races are too close to call. Do you really think that Burrow and Brennan were really that close last summer?

A 20 year old can act like shite on the national stage and “everyone needs to stop bashing him”, but if a 20 year old harmed one of your loved ones would you be suggesting that they’re tried as a juvenile? Probably not.

In what world are these remotely equivalent

Remember last summer when people were saying that Orgeron only said that Narcisse still had a chance to start so he wouldn't transfer? No chance we could have had the same situation with Burrow and Haskins.

I haven't watched all of Brennan's film thru high school. I've watched all of Haskins' and Burrow's.

They are about equal in overall skills.

The BIG difference... Haskins is all about Haskins. Burrow is all about his team.

What does high school film have to do with two third or fourth year college players?

A hell of a lot, if you know what you are looking for.

For you? Probably nothing.

So, you think what a kid is doing in high school is impacting whether or not he's named a starting QB 4 years later in college?

The Blue Chips, yes.

How do YOU think major programs choose their future QBs? I'll bet you think they choose from 24/7 rankings... dontcha? LOL!!!

You're talking about what they use to recruit the guys. I'm talking how they choose who to play 4 years down the road. Who gives a flying frick what they did in high school if there's 3 years of practice tape of them on the college level? What the hell are you talking about here?

Hate? No. Pissed that Haskins let a very poor 7-loss Purdue team knock Ohio State out of the playoffs? Hell yes.

Haskins threw the ball 73 times in a game that DEMANDED that the RBs and O-Line pulverize a grossly undermatched Purdue run defense. Haskins/Day put their silly Heisman quest ahead of team goals.
