You hit the nail on the head with the 'drive' part. They seem to have no focus, determination, or 'want to'.
And, are they told that they have to take at least one strike before swinging?? I've seen them stand there and watch fast balls go right down the middle and not swing.

You’re right about them being here before and I do think they will start swinging the bats better and still end up hosting a regional but I’d be happy if they win 1 game this weekend. I don’t see them turning it around offensively on the road this weekend. Get back home, change up the lineup, get some confidence going. Still early but something needs to happen soon.

I would have never believed that at the start of the season. Now, I think it is a reality. Although, they did show some life at the end of the game. Of course, they did also at the end of the Georgia Game 3 - then got shutout by McNeese St. McNeese St!
