Is there a limit on how many regional sites a conference is allowed?

No, but the committee has made it a point not to load up certain areas of the country with regional hosts, as much as they can atleast

How many wins does LSU need in the tournment to get a host site? I think they need at least 2 esp. with the amount of SEC teams projected to host.

Not happnin'- LSU is not going to host, at the very best we can hope for a high seeding at another school's ballpark

There still is a chance to host. We have not been eliminated from a possible host site.

We have work to do to have a chance, but there is a chance.

We have virtually no chance to host. Florida and Carolina will host. The SEC will get no more than two other sites and we really don't have an argument over the other teams in consideration unless we win the tournament and they go 0-2. Even then it is a longshot.

I am not saying we have been eliminated at all, I just think our focus needs to be one game at a time. In Hoover last year, we lose to Vandy first game and yet had enough pitching to get us through the losers bracket and to win the tourney- will be really tough to do that this year. One game at a time.

If AU wins today at Ole Piss and plays well in Hoover, as SEC West champs I think they host, IMO

Please compare the resumes Mr. Mexico and enlighten me as to which teams we would receive a bid over. Thanks.

you do realize that oru rpi is 23ish right now right?

going off of rpi the top 16 would host.

it is very likely that if we were to win the sect we would make a huge jump, and given the fact that we play where we do, we would very much be in the discussion of hosting

everyone is all oh well we suck blah blah blah no hosting, but the fact of the matter is we still started 32-6 and have a very good resume outside of our recent shitfest.

so, yes, we can very much still host

Is it possible that we could be a #2 seed in a regional, but host? I thought I've seen that before, but I really only follow LSU baseball so I don't know which schools are in contention to host or be #1 seeds
