Reflections from Saturday......

I was at the game and off on Monday, so here's my thoughts:
Pregame was awesome! Crowd was electric. 2 teams squaring off on midfield logo was blood pumping crazy. The fireworks and jet fly by's added to the intensity. Hope they showed all that on TV.
Defense played very inspired, and besides a few missed tackles on Tebow, and the blown pass for TD, played very well. They let Fl go down the field, but played bend don't break in the red zone.
Offensive was horrible. Ditch the no-huddle look at the side line crap! NOW! Offensive seems very predictable too.
Penalties & sacks were the back breakers. Took away what little momentum LSU had. No excuses for that many penalties.
All that said, before the season we all thought LSU would go either 9-3 or 10-2 and most penciled this as an automatic loss. It does suck because it was a winable game, but time to move on. I still see 10-2 with other loss to Bama.
Sidenote - I was very impressed with C. Meyer. I thought for sure he would kick the field goal at the end to pad the score, but he didn't. He was very complementary of LSU and T.S. Earned a new respect for him. Guess LSU didn't do anything to piss him off....

the blown pass for TD
That's questionable.

I think he understands that he may see us again soon.

Definite Offensive Pass Interference. Another example of the Best conference having the Worst officials.

Only if we can get our horses to run plays as well as those Budweiser Clydsdales . . .

I couldn't see that play from where we were sitting on the East sideline. I was pretty ticked when I saw it on replays of ESPN.
