email me and I'll give you directions to our tailgate in A-lot

Really, anywhere on or near campus is great. Walk around a bit. Eat breakfast at louies. You Kentucky fans are the best to party with.

This guy seems to be good people and it would be nice for them to enjoy their time in BR. Why would you do this to him?
If you'll still be in BR on Sunday morning I would recommend getting brunch at the Chimes.

honestly man, the tailgating is gonna be pretty poor for this game. Get here as early as you can and park in the Ag Lot (corner of Highland and S. Stadium) and walk around
Other than to add to pretty poor "for our standards", this advice is golden for the OP.

OH, and uh..... I would appreciate recommendations to GOOD spots, not crack houses and blood stained pool halls...TIA ;)
I think we will be able to resist the urge to send your pregnant wife to the hospital and crush your eye socket - something that WVU was simply unable to resist doing.
Follow the crowds, get Tigerbaited and eat. Even though the pickins will be somewhat slim, compared to what even a 2:30 game would get you, there will be tailgaiting to welcome our guests with what? Breakfast, I guess.

Field infront of vet school.
No white trash.

If you like sushi, tsunami is a fine restaurant on top of the Shaw building downtown. It overlooks the Mississippi and has a very nice ambiance. I would call for a reservation today though. Downtown is usually a little more appeasing to the older crowds, not as rowdy ( boudreaux and thibadeauxs, Lucy's, Happy's, the wine loft, the Roux house. They're all right next to each other)
There is Perkins Rowe at the Perkins and Bluebonnet intersection. It is a new outdoor shopping mall with several nice restaurants. Google Perkins Rowe for details. Very cool vibe. The morning of, I would get on 12 west and get off Dalrymple. Take a right when you get to the end of the ramp, it will take you across LSU lakes. Take a right on State st, we call it college ghetto because its old arse ghetto looking places with Hipster college kids inhabiting. Pretty funny. It will bring you to Highland and you should stand in line and eat breakfast at Louie's. Just get to the intersection of Highland and state and go straight through the light its the second building on the left. Just ask someone. There is also Chimes and Serranos at that intersection. You'll see the North gates of campus, and all the stately oaks. Just wander and head towards the stadium until gametime. Get in your seat for pre game and enjoy!! Afterwards, if you're up for it, you can walk south and hit Walk Ons. There will definitely be a band.
this was my email to him. Another Broken Egg was the best place to eat breakfast. Too bad it closed down

Make sure to check out the band coming down the hill. Stand anywhere around the PMAC (basketball arena prior to the game (about and hour or so). Then walk straight into the stadium.
Have fun and I'll definitely trade you a cold beer for some good bourbon.

To the poster that said they changed the name to La Lou, I thought that is what closed down. I should know, I live right down the road. And where is the new location? Do you know?

Again, I appreciate the tips and invites.
We have looked at perhaps going to Parrains on Perkins for Friday night. Any feedback? Also we have looked at Mike Andersons too.
Any opinions on those restaurants; Mike Andersons looks like a more expanded menu.....
