Again, you're getting into meaningless semantics. I'm sure a lot of publications will attach the other year to distinguish it from teams from other school years, but most normal people will refer to our last final 4 team as the 2006 basketball team. Most normal people will refer to our last national champion baseball team as the 2009 baseball team. Most people will refer to our last national champion football team as the 2007 football team.
