“The northern part of Mississippi” isn’t remotely similar from county to county. Tunica is failing casinos and bean fields. Most of DeSoto County is the nice escape suburbs from Memphis and Shelby County, TN. Go further east and it turns into hill country and then you’re in Tupelo and Corinth and on the doorstep of Ole Myth.
It’s all different than the coast, but there’s absolutely no consistency up here.
