The '06 game will probably be the worst officiated LSU game in my lifetime and the pass interference on Doucet wasn't even the worst non-call in that game.

I no longer understand the sustained hate for Cam Newton. And, I'm a Saints fan. I hated him when he was at Auburn. I hated him when he was drafted by the Panthers and showed his poor sportsmanship with the towel on his head.
But, then I began to see his consistencies. Dude hates to lose with a passion. Not that I'm advocating poor sportsmanship, but he is a proven winner. I now respect the hell out of him as a supreme athlete at the highest level.
That said, frick Auburn and Carolina!

The Cow Patties have a complete lack of originality. They rip off everything from superior programs (pre-game intro from Miami, "Battle Hymn of the Republic" type fight song from UGA, insults directed at LSU from Kansas State, etc.)

There's a lot of reasons I hate aurburn but the main 2 or because of the 96 and 97 seasons. In 96 if they win the iron bowl we go to the sec champ game they had bama beat and choked the game away in the final minutes. In 97 we had them beat but dinardo made an idiotic call on 3rd and 2 and he didn't play Kevin Faulk when Faulk was ready to play in that game. The refs also jobbed us on a late game pass interference call and we lost costing us a champ game appearance for the second year in a row.

I live in Alabama. Auburn fans are typically super-nice folks. Most of our friends went to auburn. Most of their kids do/will go to auburn. I would be happy for my kids to go there tbh. They are pretty laid back bunch. They are not as rabid as lsu fans.
The Bama fans I know use cocaine on a regular basis, and say things like "losses are tougher on us because we are so used to winning" and mean it.
