Because Pete Carroll is a douchebag that signed FA Matt Flynn and will put him on the bench in favor of a rookie QB

Flynn was good enough to run the Packers offense but not the Seahawks

defense as a whole is much better
way more depth
will be battle tested and face all types of offenses
more advanced defensive schemes than USC faces in the Pac-10, they don't have all day to throw the ball like Matt Leinart did back in the day when they received all their glory
I would probably give our coaching staff the edge too but don't know USC's that well

they have the edge at:
qb (for now) te, and wr

our coaches are far better than theirs top to bottom

Our players have names on their jerseys. Schools that harbor murderers and child molesters have nameless jerseys.
