yea im thinking he easily gets that if he can keep up what he did in the peach bowl. I mean even though people say well he only passed for 140 some yards and a TD is only a decent outing, considering he started at the GT 20 yard line atleast twice and average starting spot was at the 40, he didnt have to much field to pass on. and when you have a tailback thata rushes for three TDs its alsonot bad to only have 1 passing TD.

and dont forget the bomb he threw to Lafell that was wiped out because of offsetting penalties(that rule is so lame, the play should stand if the benefitting team comitted the lesser penalty) which would have put his stats at 2 TDs and 220 some yards. but thats all woulda shoulda coulda

people are leaving out the fact that this kid hasn't started in a REALLY hostile evironment yet. Arky not even in Fayetteville and a bowl game that didn't matter. I think we need to see how this kid does at Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee before we put him in the HoF

Those were both hostile environments. They aren't to the degree you mentioned in those places, but they are as much as you'll face in most other conferences.

He was basically running for his life at times in both of those games, so I don't see a huge difference truthfully. Watch those replays and you'll see that the blocking was not that good.

Pretty confident there since he threw none in his two starts.

Like Elleshoe stated, he hasn't played in a hostile environment yet. Not sure how that will affect him, but you never know.

I am going to say:

2351 passing yards
54%
17 touchdowns
13 interceptions

583 rushing yards
6 rushing touchdowns

8 Fumbles but only 4 lost
I think he takes 20+ sacks also

LSU goes 10-3 on Season

Yup in 3 games he had 9 sacks last year, so if he keeps up that rate and plays in 13 games then he goes well over 30 for season, but I am assuming he decreases and finishes with 24 sacks.

Also believe once he gets in meat of SEC schedule he will throw some INT's this year. I think 13 is a fairly well rounded number considering even Flynn threw 11.

He also in his 3 games had a few fumbles, I am taking into account his ability to run, and get sack in figuring out he will fumble a good deal.

240 yards per game passing
60 yard per game rushing
7 interceptions with 0 going for a frickin' pik6.
16 passing t.d.'s
Injury free with a trip to the SEC champ.
That's all I got.

flawed logic, my friend.

I think you'll see him avoiding sacks a lot more this year.

Flynn was also very careless with the ball in big games. He threw 3 in the bama game alone in 2007.

I don't see jefferson forcing throws like flynn/lee did.

From what i've been hearing from spring practice, jefferson has gone into beast mode.

his confidence level is WAY up there right now, especially with crowton working with him and our QB's more this year than the last two years.

well I did take into account him avoiding thats why I am saying 24. That would less than 2 a game, well barely less than 2 but still less than 2.

And I think JJ starting from Day 1 will throw some in pressure situations. We have yet to truly see how he responds to a really bad game where its all on him. I think he probably throws 4/5 just between Bama/Florida this year.
I mean Flynn threw 11 INT, JR 8, and Mauck 10. Pretty much every LSU seems to throw a few INT's each year. JJ being first year truly starting will follow trend.

Key word there is PRACTICE we dont know how he actually will handle SEC schedule. JJ will be running more than Lee, he will get sacked and hit a good bit. 8 Fumbles is not out of reach for him.

144-of-276 Passes (12-of-23 per) for 2,316 yards (193 per). 18 TD and 12 Ints. (1.5 and 1 per)

72 Rushes for 288 Yds (6 att. for 4 yds. per) and 6 TDs (.5 per)

I say Jefferson accounts for an average of 29 plays per game. We will be a rushing team unless the defense fails and puts us in "pass-only" situations.

I doubt this a lot, but stranger things have happened.

jarrett lee's INT's vs. florida/bama in 2008:

6

4 in bama game, 2 in florida.
