the benching of our best player is puzzling. especially after they score a touch down.

I'm not saying that Hill shouldn't have had the ball, but we only ran 9 plays in the 4th quarter, and that includes 3 punts.

Yes. we had 3 offensive possessions in the 4th, with a lead for each one, and Hill didnt get A...SINGLE...frickING...4TH...QUARTER...CARRY

i'm just saying with the way he was running, he might have been able to get 2 yards.

I can't wait until next season.

So funny, people say this shite every year

To go along with that, the local "experts" are always saying how they predicted the current season was going to be a learning curve and that the very next season was when the real monster was going to be unleashed...dating back to 2008

It doesn't make sense. When you have one back who has stepped up and has played really well, theres no need to keep rotating between 4 backs.

I understand giving him a spell to rest but Hill needs to be the feature back. Then when he needs a rest, let the other backs battle for those carries. I'm hopeful that next year we get a heavy dose of Hill with Blue as his back up.

miles will bench blue after he scores on a big run. then with hill and blue on the bench hilliard can come in and execute the 3 yards and a cloud of dust

he's been an afterthought in the offense

jeremy hill is one of the best RB's in the country, and certainly the SEC

and he was on the fricking bench in the 4th quarter

no excuse for that.

this happens over and over with les miles. once we see something is working les changes before it gets stopped. he did it at uk with chuck scott. I believe he said he switched it up because he thought uk would adjust.

we had an offense moving the ball and looking well vs bama and what do we do after that we scrap that offense. we forget we have tight ends and backs that can catch the ball and we forget that out routes and routes geared to slot guys work because we have slot wrs. instead we throw fricking roll out passes and deep passes which we suck at both.

57 yard tds just puts the defense out there quicker than a 3 and out at midfield.

3 plays then punt= more time off the clock = a rested D in miles' world

Can we keep this thread positive? i get that people are frustrated, but it would be nice if the obviously optimistic threads could stay optimistic for the people who don't want to bitch about the game.

Why do you say that? because he played Blue a lot this year? I remember blue putting up good numbers and running well before his injury. So it seems like he earned his caries.
