So a professional hitting coach, LSU's, doesn't know what Jones' weaknesses are and what to work on to correct those issues.??? CJJ said in his post game PC press conference that he & the staff know just how hard Jone's been working behind the scenes & is one of his favorite players of all times because of his hard work and how much he cares "A great locker room guy".

Hopefully he'll give some Brad Cresse vibes in a CWS final this year. I was just a kid but it seems like Cresse had been slumping prior to us playing Stanford in the finals. Then he pushed the winning run though. Slump forgotten.

Time for a dose of truth and probably some down votes. He has been a rally killer more often than not lately. The home run was terrific. But let's not get it twisted he needs a lot more of them. I'm rooting for him because I root for LSU. One other thing, his play at first base is truly outstanding.

No one is denying the slumps. We’re just happy for him that he had a big moment last night. I also think he’s had some nice moments in big games throughout the year but so many fans just harp on the hard times and slumps way more than acknowledging the good moments.

He doesn’t have to “sell out to the long ball”. He just can’t try to pull everything. Early season he hit the ball where ever it was pitched and hit piss rockets oppo. Frey has settled into that approach the second half of the season and is on fire.

Maybe he needs his vision check just like Dwayne Bo had his checked. Once Dwayne Bo got glasses. He became a receiver extraordinaire.
