Realistically, what should we expect from Mettenberger next year?

is that realistic?

More like 35 tds 7 ints
3600 yards
69% comp
and 4 rushing tds

I wouldn't be so sure about that. If he protects the ball Les will turn him loose.

umm. we have 2100 yards and 21 TDs this season...and you know how little we've passed the ball.

he let jamarcus throw the ball around so it's not like he won't let him throw. we might lose RR2 but we will have more precise route runners in odb33 and jL80 and having rs10 stretch the feild with his speed.

Realistically . . . he shall be the all-being ruler of time, space and dimension.

Take out Bama and UGa games where the QB's threw miserably, the OM and Oregon games where throwing was unnecessary and it's remarkable.

the oline will be more mature and be able to run and pass both as very well.

A quarterback that has the look on his face like he knows what he's doing. A hell of a lot of offense.

Honestly, I'm kind of expecting the same. Hell, all the pieces are there.

yeah,

but 64.5% completion
2799 yards
and 25 tds 8 ints

is completely out of the question

I think that those stats are very close. I just want to see 1 300 yard passing game next year. That would be so cool

My guess is we'll throw it a little more than this year but, I don't see us slinging it all over the yard no matter how good Mettenberger's throwing it.

I'm sure his numbers will probably be pretty good. He looks capable and a good ground game which we should have, will keep him out of bad situations.

I'm hoping he and Beckham develop some chemistry because if Beckham gets enough targets, I think he can be prolific along the lines of Wendell Davis and Josh Reed, actually, possibly better. I watched him some this year and I really think Beckham's special.

He will play 8 games, then get benched cause Miles misses the meltdowns of this season on the rant...

We will have as close to an NFL type offense as it gets in college football. I think we will dominate next year with Mett running the offense.

I love the September schedule next year that will ease him into the season. N. Texas, Idaho, Washington, Towson St. and Moo U. will likely be the lone SEC opponent early in the season. He will be more than ready by the time we hit the meat(pun intended) of the schedule.
