Since we are taking about production I guess we should talk stats as well. Obviously it would be a whole page to predict every stat. So I will predict the notables.
OFFENSE: Myles Brennan 4500 passing yards, 38 tds, 68% completion percentage

TDP 900 rushing yards, 11tds , 4.5 avg per carry
Chris curry 700 rushing yards, 5 tds, 3.8 avg
Emery 400 rushing yards, 5 tds, 3.8 avg

Jamar chase 1,300 receiving yards, 13 tds
Marshall 1,100 receiving yards, 15 tds
McMath 800 receiving yards , 8 tds

DEFENSE:
Stevens the leading tackler ( Cox a close 2nd
Stingley 8 ints
Flott 3 ints
Tyler shelvin 4.5 sacks

Just all a guess I’m not stat predictor just wanted to hear y’all view.

I hope Brennan is great and I guess every indication is he will be but...

Your realistic expectation is that he has the second most yards(by over 1500yds) and TDs(by 10) in an LSU season in his first season as a starter??

Single season
Rank Player Yards Year
1 Joe Burrow 5,671 2019
2 Rohan Davey 3,347 2001
3 JaMarcus Russell 3,129 2006
4 Zach Mettenberger 3,082 2013
5 Joe Burrow 2,894 2018
6 Matt Mauck 2,825 2003
7 Tommy Hodson 2,655 1989
8 Zach Mettenberger 2,609 2012
9 Jeff Wickersham 2,542 1983
10 Danny Etling 2,463 2017

Single season
Rank Player TDs Year
1 Joe Burrow 60 2019
2 Matt Mauck 28 2003
JaMarcus Russell 28 2006
4 Tommy Hodson 22 1989
Zach Mettenberger 22 2013
6 Matt Flynn 21 2007
7 Tommy Hodson 19 1986
8 Herb Tyler 18 1998
Rohan Davey 18 2001

I'm betting that John Emery will make a similar leap forward in 2020 to the kind of gigantic leap forward Jamar Chase took in his second season in the SEC.

Also Brennan will break Rohan Davey's passing record and passing touchdowns record but he will not touch Joe Burrow's records.

Why not? We aren’t going back to the offensive system all those other QBs played in. If they’d played in the current system, their stats would’ve all been higher.

I honestly do expect him to. He has all the weapons. The offense is different and better than most of the other teams in the early 2 thousands. And he has sat behind and learned and studied for 3 years. He should be good to go.

I believe John emery will make a leap but it all depends on his touches. Just off of seeing all three backs, Emery has the best potential but needs touches to show it. Also he needs to grasp and understand the playbook a little better. All in all I agree Emery will make a huge leap this year.

Would be huge. Might be a bit lofty though.
