READ THIS....Why We Win!

This is the strongest LSU team I have ever seen! The SOS, the double digit wins, the SECCG (we played for one half) the wins on the road, the wins at neutral sites, the list goes on and on! And they did it with adversity off the field...Krags issues, JJ's issues, Sheps issues, TM7s and others suspensions, the list goes on...OMG!
This team will go down in history as one of the greatest football teams of all time....EVER...in the history of college football!! I am not just spouting this, there are articles I have read from people supposedly in the know (talking heads I admit) that say the same thing. LSU rocks and most importantly....to put it in Gumps words..."theay aint scaaared!"
Little has raised the hair of these Tigers and after watching the announcement of the reaction of our Tigers to the rematch of the BAMA/LSU "II" they were quite unimpressed! Bama is nothing but a "speed bump" on our road to what is rightfully ours!
While it is true that it is blatantly unfair for LSU to have to win the SECCG to face a team they have already beaten and a team that gets to rest at home, I personally would have it no other way! Our Tigers have an erection at the mere thought of playing and beating these dumb f**** for a second time in the same year. How lucky can we be!
And if you think NOLA is a neutral site then I have pity on you...NOLA is as "LSU country" as the rest of Lousiana! While NOLA may smile at your traditions and may even laugh at your unusual customs, when the day is done they are purple and gold and they will rejoice in your defeat.....and take your money!!
In closing, your are delusional Alabama! But it bothers us not. We will win because of who we are, the adversity we faced and because of the family we are! A mixed pot of talent, three deep, with an eye on perfection and an opportunity to kick your arse back to the dreams of your beloved Bear!
To the LSU faithful I would say grow a pair!! Stop the whinning!!! The Gumps are sitting in a canoe beside a purple an gold battleship with our guns trained on them...treat them as such!!!!
WE WILL NOT lose nor will we be denied our place in destiny...get over it! Maybe next year GUMPS.....NOT! FU Bama and skull FU too!!

While I agree with the enthusiasm and appreciate the support of our team despite many on this site...the Patriots were undefeated as well. Do you think the Giants cared?

personally i think there is a hefty difference between college football and the pros. One plays for money and the other plays for principal and emotion...thank you for your comment

Its the truth brother...we WILL NOT be denied!!! Have faith and treat the Gumps that way!!! A speed bump is all that they are...no matter how much they shout into the night....they are irrelevant!!!

The Bama nation thinks we are scared and I laugh at the thought! The LSU faithful awake and yawn, read the paper, have a cup of coffee and then turn to the funny pages to see what Bama has to say....lmao....you gotta love the thought of that!!

The A&M part of LSU started in NOLA, and the Fight Song is based on melodies from the "Tiger Rag" - written by an Italian piano player in New Orleans. I also think I read somewhere that Lee's Fighting Tigers were based in NOLA or something like that. LSU's roots here are strong, and while the Dome is by no means Tiger Stadium, its not neutral territory at all.
As an LSU fan since I can remember (early 80's) - I wet my pants thinking about how awesome it would be to beat Bama TWICE in one year. The risk of losing is well worth the benefits of winning this one. We'd be the first school to go 10-0 in the SEC - and if I'm not mistaken, the first school to beat Bama twice in one year.

I agree, Keep Preachin. This team is special.
Gumps will leave the field with thier heads down one more time this season.
Then henceforth, we will place the tide where they belong, behind us.

I agree that this LSU team is the most dominant of any team in memory. Week after week we've heard opponents' fans from highly ranked programs talk trash about how they will beat our Tigers. But this team knows it will win and will always find a way to win.
The only point I differ with somewhat is that the game is not being played in front of predominantly LSU crowd. At best there may be a slight majority of LSU fans in the dome. But on the other hand, it doesn't have to be a lop-sided LSU fan majority. In 2007 I wasn't even able to get tickets through LSU despite getting them in 2003. Ended up sitting with OSU fans.
I think the Bama fans' "Delusions, Part Deau" sounds like a re-run of the weeks before Nov. 5. They seem to think Bama is the team that has figured out everything and that LSU learned nothing from the game and will not change anything. They are in for a shock.

Not a good comparison
