I'm with you. Miles has made being an LSU fan enjoyable in so many ways. Nick might have won a couple more big games, but it's hard to say for sure.
My ideal college football team would be a weekday Saban built and coached team with a gameday spread it out, take big risk gambling coach.

I think LSU is usually pretty well-prepared. The issue we have had at times is a lack of awareness of game situations. Les can be a little too hands-off with the assistants in my opinion, but no one wants to work for a micro-manager either.

I don't know. I think he's past his prime. He's under less pressure there and ridiculously compensated. He did good things when he was with LSU, don't want to be too sour grapes, but I wasn't displeased with the change once we knew the new staff.
I'll believe he's past his prime when LSU beats him 4 times in a row.
I was talking about Chavis, not Saban

If all it takes is great athletes to win, why is Sumlin struggling so much at A&M? Look at the ranking of all his recruiting classes since he's been there. Yet for all those 4-5 stars all over the roster, the best he's done is to come in 3rd in his division.

DiNardo had some good athletes too.

I like Les's personality more but that personality isn't going to provide as many championships as Nicky's anal over prepared personality.

Very prickly Nick.....seems like the questioner pierced right thru the outward demeanor he was trying to project. And he didn't like it. Overall, he looks tired to me. I would be surprised if he coaches more than a few more years
