Felt the need to post here. Regardless of 1/9, 2011 was a special season. The hype videos, Oregon, taking the knee, etc... What a great year.
Hell, losing on 1/9 May even make it better.

That's the one game I'll never be able to get over. Football means so much to people over there and to see their fans get so crushed after they lost was unbelievably satisfying. Then they get their happiness and hopes back after the BCS (Iowa State) fricks us, it was sickening.

Hell I won't lie... I may never get over it. Toughest schedule in the nation that year and won every game by an average of 28 points??? NC and that team is widely considered to be WAY up on the list of all-time greatest teams.
I'd have found it easier to swallow if we had beaten them in OT in Tiger Stadium the first time around. But to do that on the road... That rematch was an absolute crime.
That night we beat them in Tuscaloosa was the happiest I've ever been as a Tiger fan. Now, it seems like we sold our souls to win it and every time we play those sonzabitches the devil takes another chunk of payment.
Time to put an end to that crap this year.
