WADE was listened to on the tape, Alleva did not tape him.
WADE initiated the problem REGARDLESS of whether we agree with Alleva's actions or not.
agreed.

Maybe I got spoiled by Brady and am unrealistic to expect LSU basketball to return to the level at which it was during the Brady years.

God, it feels good to say that.

The post you make that proves you didn’t actually watch John Brady’s basketball teams at LSU.

I wonder what exactly do you think Wade initiated and how? You do know he wasn’t formally accused of anything and no violations were ever charged right? It was a hit piece from a Kentucky writer who took leaked excepts taken out of context and given to him by a criminals lawyer in order to smear Wade who was cooperating with the FBI against the defendant. The fact that we have fans that still give weight to this nonsense is astonishing. Alleva was caught lying about it multiple times and forced out over it lol.

Still no excuse for the worst and laziest defense I've seen in college basketball.

Defense is an attitude, a commitment. You don't have to be a great athlete to play good defense. Perhaps Wade needs to hire a defensive minded assistant.

The lethargic unmotivated mindset of the team on defense is a coaching issue, plain and simple. If your players refuse to play defense, make them sit on the bench for a while. There seems to be no consequences resulting from not playing defense.

This! I love Wade, but the defensive effort we saw against Florida is a coaching issue first and foremost. Secondly, it shows a lack of leadership from our key players. I can't remember ever seeing such a lack of defensive effort from an LSU team. I hope Wade took it personal and grows from it. He turned our program around in short order, and here's to hoping that we hit bottom the other night. Tommorow's game will be telling about how our season will end. This group of players will never be a great defensive team, but their effort on the defensive end in this game will be telling.
