Complain about rap music when you are paying to watch 90 percent of a team being young black males..........you are a racist and a dumb arse one at that.

Love it when the children resort to name calling. That said, there have been long time season ticket holders who have pulled out and there will be more.

The students produce 80% of the stadium noise

WRONG

Actually, that sounds correct. Flew in for a game a few weeks ago sitting close to the 50 middle bowl, and most of the noise was coming from the student section nearby. I came to yell when the opposing team was on O,
& was surprised how little noise was coming outside of the student section. Granted it was a non conference game, but regardless, should still be bringing the noise.

This atmosphere the OP complains about is part of what attracts recruits to LSU. Sorry, but you'll have to deal with it. I left the stadium hoarse, even if not many around me did

Some of us have, and we also took our money with us. If that trend keeps going, the Tiger Stadium experience will continue to fade.

Agreed, but LSU is still a hot ticket. As long as they win it won't matter.

That's why I go to more baseball games as I get older.

Nothin wrong with a lil Mozart , Chopin ,Beethoven

So that's your plan? A critical 3rd down and 2 in the 4th quarter and a little bit of Chopin's Spring Waltz throughout the stadium?

PLEASE DON'T TRY TO TURN TIGER STADIUM INTO AN NFL STADIUM (or the PMAC). We season ticket holders are usually very quiet about most things, but this has been going on (slowly but surely) for a while and needs to be addressed.

Screw music in football stadiums, I'm there for the game. Play the anthem and the alma mater and sit down. Music is for the people who do the wave and punch a beach ball around. Why don't you do the chicken dance while you're at it?

Assuming you meant piped in music. I still love hearing the tiger band from golden land. Nothing like hearing Hey Baby late in the game.

Not sure how this is possible when their section is the first one to empty.

The piped in music is not for you up in the suites, it's for the people on the field.

Actually, I read an article about the Tiger Stadium DJ this year and he said he tries to find a balance that will make the fans in the stands happy and the team. The money is sitting in those seats, but winning usually fills the seats. He said the band gets to play when they want. If they opt not too play or it's not enough time for them to play, then he takes over.

You really think White wants to hear "revolution" to pump him up before a punt return?
Probably not, but our special teams need a revolution.

I have no problem with that, but you need to realize that you're not the only person in the stadium. If our players get amped up by some rap and it gives them an edge, I'm all for that, because I'm all for winning. If "Bitch I'm from Louisiana" gets the student section riled up and they create noise that causes problems for the opposing team, I'm all for that.

iPhones exist for a reason. If you don't like the music in the stadium, get an iPhone and some big headphones and listen to your own music. Or Hawthorne, or whoever the next guy is.

What motivation do I have to lie? To get a bunch of down it's and criticisms?...
I'm just telling you what I observed coming from out of town from personal experience. Maybe the game was an anomaly, or it being an OOC ... But that's what happened.

I love LSU fans...everyone was gracious and social , but not everyone comes to bring the noise and that is okay. I had a great time ....

THIS IS A LIE.
I KNOW A PARENT OF A KID IN THE BAND. ATHLETICS HAS SOMEONE ON A HEADSET TELLING THE BAND WHEN THEY CAN AND CANNOT PLAY. HER SON SITS RIGHT BEHING THE GUY WITH THE HEADSET.

So you are OK with our players getting all wound up with rap music rather than paying attention to the game, their coaches, etc. DUMB.
