And are you trying to seriiously say Nola wasn't the best pitcher on the team last year? Seriously?
NO stupid shite. I am trying to say that it is arguable who the second best pitcher was.... Perhaps it was the guy with a 1.16 ERA and 16 saves?
That isn't even the point. The point is that it is arguable and yet you use a definitive statement. You say Mathieu is the best defensive player to come out of LSU and it isn't arguable. I say Peterson and Reid would make it ARGUABLE. You say that Eades was the second best pitcher. My point is that the second best pitcher is ARGUABLE. Maybe it is Eades, maybe not, but it is not definitive, and you don't back it up with stats. You just state your point and move on to the next post that you can misinterpret into another 2 pages of material.

I am not sure what the hell you are talking about. No one tried to argue that anyone was better than Nola. Only you are ridiculous enough to attempt to make that point.

Post all of their numbers right now. Nola's numbers are better

It only took 35 pages for you to finally start answering questions

No shite, he was a starter and pitched more innings
Cotton was a closer, not a starter.

Hmm I dunno man.

Wow dude. You have gone off the edge. You don't have any reading comprehension skills whatsoever. You are now in an argument with yourself about who was better than Nola when you are the only person in the last 35 pages to even mention Nola or hint that someone may be better than him.

Not arguable
Yes it is. You can't compare starters to relievers and your only argument is stats.
If that was the case, Bregman was better than Nola last season.
Posted on 4/28/14 at 10:16 pm to tadelatt
It's not even possible to cherry pick stats that can mislead anyone in believing cotton was/is better than Nola

Just made it through the fist 11 pages of this thread...
Absolutely fantastic stuff happening in here.

I have to do this to prove a point but...
Aaron Nola - 126 IP, 12-1, 1.57 ERA, 122 K, 18 BB
Chris Cotton - 46.2 IP, 4-1, 1.16 ERA, 6 ER, 16 Saves, 47 K, 3 BB
Now, give Cotton more innings, on averages, and you get -
126 IP, 1.29 ERA, 13-3, 128 K, 7 BB
Aaron Nola - 126 IP, 12-1, 1.57 ERA, 122 K, 18 BB
Chris Cotton - 46.2 IP, 4-1, 1.16 ERA, 6 ER, 16 Saves, 47 K, 3 BB
