Your right...his freshman season he only threw 12 innings. Didn't get a chance to show much coming off of an injury in HS. Maybe the injury this season was more serious but that also makes him risky. 2 injuries in the last 4 years and only 1 good season to show what he's made of. It was impressive and shows his ceiling but thats it.

1st round picks are either very talented or SUPER polished; Ranaudo falls into the 1st category. He won't be the only 1st round pick who isn't consistent.

I hope I'm wrong. I wish him the best. He's represented LSU very well. Either way I think he'll do well at the next level.

He always played hard, and the coaches always talk about how he is the hardest working player they've ever coached. I wish him well...really wish he'd come back.

You are. You can look up a ton of mock drafts all which has Anthony in the 1st. The only way he goes past the 1st or sandwich picks is if somebody is scared away because of Boras.
