Jimbo may not be saban or Meyer but the guy is a pretty solid hire. QB evaluation, QB progression under his coaching, recruiting shouldn't take a hit at all. It's a safe hire and at the very least a lateral move if not an upgrade imo

I only know the basics about him- coached here, was at Texas, has done well and won a MNC at Florida Sate. But I'd be fine with him.

Only thing is he needs a new haircut. That early 70's throwback one looks horrible and I have the same one, so every time I see him I am reminded of it.
