Radio broadcast which syncs up to game while in stadium?

Just recently started to want to try out the thing that the old timers do and listen to a radio broadcast while at the game. Tried it in the dome this past weekend and there was a lag time of a while play so it made listening virtually impossible. Is there a lag in tiger stadium? Or are there any streams I can catch on my phone that will be synced up properly to game speed that I can catch on my ear bud? Thanks!

I believe even the fastest streams will still have atleast a 4 or 5 second delay.

I think the old timers do it more for insight into the game where we would otherwise speculate (or try endlessly to get cell service).
Stuff like stats, injuries, play reviews ect. No so much a live audio broadcast in real time.

I brought a small cheap sony radio with earbuds during all home games last year (had one earbud on at a time). The radio delay is only a few seconds. Not irritating at all.
WDGL's transmitter site and tower, BTW, are less than two miles south of the stadium. Even the cheapest radio should have no problem picking up the signal.

Up until last year there was no delay. The broadcast was instantaneous with the live action.

Just pause the game if the radio is behind.

Us "old-timers" are used to being a few seconds slow.... ??

There are already enough pauses!

If you were listening on WWL in NOLA, then there is a delay. I haven't done this in a couple of years, but there was no delay in Tiger Stadium as of a couple of years ago.

I listen to the radio at home and n the stadium, the delay does not bother me, like to know what is happening on the sidelines. Injuries who is Cajun may not etc.
People are always asking what is going for n. LOL
