Fedora?

Would Fedora have lost to Troy? Would miles have? These are the only relevant questions.

The next relevant question is this. LSU under O can't beat a team with more than 8 wins. They face at least 4 next year. Do they win those 4?

had O never gotten the run as interim, 99.99% of this board would have laughed at the notion of him even getting an interview.

I was terrified as soon as I heard he was named interim. Despite all the talk all fall about the hoops he'd have to jump through in order to EARN the job, he essentially did none of them and STILL got handed the keys to the castle while far too many of our fans cheered blissfully ignorant of what they just helped cause.

but he got several months of manipulation to sell people on being a changed man and "one of us." Bought the media off with practice access, they in turn were more than happy to write glowing puff pieces about him learning from his failures at Ole Miss, love in his heart for LSU, the genius of more laxed practices etc. This thread is even a testament to the fact that they were able to help convince people the only viable candidates were Jimbo, Herman.....and O.

100%. More so than anything else, the 2016 season was a PR campaign as much as it was an audition for the job. frick literally EVERY ONE of our local media chumps that helped this clown.

Hell he did such a good sales job people didn't even seem to notice that our record likely would have been the exact same had Miles not been fired.

Or better...and it would have been cause for outrage, not contentment.
