Is LSU at its 105 number limit? If they are, doesn’t this mean someone who is on the team will lose their scholarship if they accept these late transfers?

No. All walk ons last year were given designated student athlete tags that don't count against the cap.
Also you have situations like Shanklin who is no longer with the team which may free up a spot.
If we end up adding 6 or 7 players like we are planning to, thing may get tight but that's the cost of doing business in the big city
