Bad offenses for multiple years. Different coordinators who had more innovative offenses elsewhere. Common thread: CLM with headphones and a microphone. Video evidence that he is conversing with coaches before crucial situation plays are called. Doesnt make him a bad coach or man. He just needs to trust someone who knows more offense and spends more time in film room than does he.
