The site ebbs and flows but focuses on the immediate and especially the negative. With all the revered love for saban, the man was bashed around here quite often back in his days. The expectations were brutal in 2004 and the blame placed on saban was hilarious. Same goes for Miles but on a higher and more aggressive note.

Ya, thats pretty much what I figured. I am sure a huge uptick in membership is partly to blame for that.

The Rant has changed dramatically ever since we became a spoiled fan base.

You mean how do you keep your sanity just reading anything on the rant...in season or offseason!

Really... you just offended 90% of the site... although 95% of that 90% is probably 100% sure they are 0% of those posters.

Hmmmm...a serious question posed about whether this anonymous Internet message board focused on amateur football will cause loss of sanity. Interesting.

This place is great for voicing how you feel.
The problem is that the MOA'S (Masses of Asses) on here have wreteched excess ego's and can't tolerate opinions that differ than their own.

Misery loves company.....The complainers and bitchers get the most attention.

And bc they're the vocal majority. The "positigers" are more level headed which means they don't feel the need to constantly repeat themselves.

I always think about the demagraphics of the fans that post here, majority(southern white males who played atleast 2 yrs of HS football). The things that annoy me the most are the recent "trolling" trend and the obscene amounts of sarcasm. And believe it or not, screen names and member info can tell you a lot about a person.

This board has definitely changed a lot since I joined.

It has much more of a national following; congratulations to Chicken. Heck, this board is becoming the "go to" board and main message board for every SEC school and in the future, may become the same for almost every BCS school.

Focusing on LSU though, the number of spoiled, bandwagon fans has increased exponentially. The Rant used to be a place of witty repartee and informed LSU sports talk.

It's hardly that anymore. You have to take the good with the bad, I guess, when a forum like Tigerdroppings is hugely successful.

Sometimes I almost wish for Miles to leave and a Curley Hallman to come back where these bandwagon annies can REALLY get a craw full of a bad coach.
