Question for the LSU guys

What Clemson is particularly good at is changing into the correct defensive play at the line of scrimmage once they see the offense of formation. What Clemson struggles with is the no huddle hurry up. For obvious reasons because they can’t change defensive formations as efficiently. That’s why Ohio State had success early and I am amazed that they did not continue to do that. My question to you guys is does LSU go fast often? I have not watched LSU enough to know.

Not really. We are a real ball control squad. Grind it out type.

We always go fast unless we are killing clock.
We run a play, go straight to the line, check in or out of a play, and snap. Usually with 20-25 left on the play clock

We do what we want and when we want. Nothing you will be able to do about it.

Ever heard of “warp speed”?

Serious answer since you don’t appear to be a troll:
LSU doesn’t huddle. We go fast until we get a big lead, then drain the play clock at the LOS before snapping with 2-4 seconds.
If you watch the Peach Bowl, it’s a perfect synopsis of LSU’s tempo for the season.
ETA: 49 first half points, only 14 in second half but still scored every possession in second half except the last one when we ran out the clock.

If we huddle in this game it will be our first this season

We are you always preparing? Just go.

I don't know shite about the ACC. Does anyone in that conference run a tempo spread? Serious question. I think I know the answer but asking anyway

Very little old school "stay in the huddle" or 20 seconds. Offense will play fast. Makes it difficult to sub and change coverage. However, I'm told by the CU guys on TigerNet that it doesn't matter, you only have to see the Bama game and can tell right away how CU will annihilate LSU.

We can. Burrow is also the best in the business at reading the defense and adjusting instantly.
We haven't really run the warp speed offense much but saw a lot of it early in the season.

It's not uncommon to get the too many guys on the field or offsides penalty at least once when our offense is on the field.

When I say that I’m pretty sure we score inside of two minutes on our opening possession, I’m more certain that I’m right than wrong.

Burrow has been very good at identifying when the D has an extra man on the field because of a late substitution.
I know I'm biased, but his intelligence at that position has been remarkable. This is not meant to take away anything from anyone else that plays the position.
