We bring back Trindon, put him on D, let him run through his legs on a dump pass, the result is a spectacular 98 yard interception return for a TD?

Anyone who knows football can answer this question. On first and second down they will throw quick short passes (3 step drops) because their OL cant block our Dline the ball will come out quick. So you just put a linebacker on him about 3-4 yards off the ball. On 3rd down (long passing situations) you play bracket coverage with a linebacker in his face jamming him off the line, disrupting his route and a safety over the top. We will play a lot of nickel and dime this game to where you can give a lot of over the top help.

simple...you gotta jam the shite out of him at the line of scrimmage to slow the development of the play and get someone to the qb before the pattern develops...

This plus the pressure our d line will put on the QB will prob have Washington keeping that extra blocker in a lot more.....

There is a lot more expert knowledge expressed here than I can argue with, as I am the typical Joe Fan. However, all I do know is Bama killed us with their TE in the game in Jan. And we have succeptable to the TE over the middle for yrs & yrs it seems.

Id love to see Mingo on him, but there is a flaw with that. The best way to cover this guy would be to have Reid man pressed on him, and get after the QB. Which is why I would rather see Mingo getting after the QB rather than guarding a guy. You take his best asset, which is getting after the QB, out the game by dropping him in coverage. It doesnt even have to be Reid on the TE, just get a guy playing underneath him and another over the top of him and let Mingo and Monty get after that QB and make him get rid of the ball too soon or too late. Throw off the timing and we should get some INTs.

Your welcome. With all the banter we read here, it's nice to rest on knowing that some do actually have good insight and football knowledge. I appreciate it.

Washington's going to double team Mingo and Monty as much as possible imo. Wondering if this is going to end up looking like WVU game.

Reid is probably the best option for LSU, but I guarantee you Sark is going to do everything in his power to generate one on one match-ups with Muncie.
