Are there any plans for the North Endzone to be expanded or putting up a bigger modern video board?

103,000 is really big. Maybe they can have some other plans for that. But, LSU certainly does not need more capacity

That’s what I want to hear. So 103,000 is the cap on seats.

There may be plans out there somewhere, but it would greatly impact the area between Tiger Stadium and Mile's enclosure so I'd guess there are just far away design ideas.

Besides, except for a few games a year, we don't come close to filling it now. And do we need MORE traffic on campus after games?

In this new world of huge TVs, man caves, every game televised, and decreased attendance...I think the days of bigger and bigger stadiums may be on its way out the door.

Same goes with Bryant-Denny. Traffic always stinks around campus on Saturdays

I dont think an expansion is necessary... but a bigger video board in the NEZ would be nice.

Mile's enclosure

1st we elect Saban to LA HOF and now, we build Miles an enclosure?

Given the attitude of so many on here, I'm actually surprised no one recommended jailing the guy...

Imma leave it...

the only future expansion would include suites of some kind. there is enough general admission seats at this point. There is even talk of making the seat spaces wider and reducing capacity for more comfort before increasing capacity.

It seems as if plenty on this board would love a chance go walk by a Miles cage and throw shite at him. People sling shite at him all the time on here.

I wouldn't mind another expansion if they addressed the room between rows. Trying to give other people room to pass has become the bane of my stadium experience.

Florida is the only game that both upper decks have been full
No more expansion needed.
If anything reducing it might work better or make seats larger in upper deck and more fan friendly.

The north side is too close to that street to expand.
Eventually the front of the PMAC needs to be more atrium style and remove the ramps.
My guess is they may even close that road off one day.

First step could be banning stadium seats like this that are brought into the stadium. This a-hole was a State fan last year... Between he and his wife they took up an additional seat with these lawn chairs.

After that, it could be nice to have seat backs added to the bleacher seats like they did on the west side lower section and in 2 sections up in the WUP.

I would think not anytime soon, but you never know what the future will behold.

I can all but guarantee that once the PMAC gets replaced, that whole area will be reconfigured so that there's space for future generations to do so if deemed necessary one day.

Well yeah...assuming they dedicated it to replays and highlights and videos and NOT advertising. Would be simple to just add static advertising to the outer frame of whatever we build there and allow the board itself to be purely for video.

But yes...given how much we're upgrading things, this seems like an obvious next addition.

Was told by TAF person that Original plan was to build out North instead of South but the construction engineers deemed the land on north end not able to carry the weight of the new addition. Maybe some of you smarter than me (most everyone on this board no doubt) can elaborate on this.

I think the next major upgrades to Tiger Stadium will be made underneath where the old dorms are.

That’s what I would think would be as well. Tear them down for auxiliary operations for the stadium
