Question about LA State Retirement and coaches!

If a coach transfers from an out-of-state Community College, College or University, does their retirement transfer or can they buy their time-transferred in LA?
Let’s say a coach puts in 20 years at LSU, but had 15 accumulated years from out-of-state, does Louisiana allow importing of those years from OOS?
Anyone familiar with those rules? Charles McClendon served as President, for the national coaches association. Bear Bryant helped him secure that position after Charlie Mac left LSU. One of CM’s goals was to lobby states to allow the free-flow/transfer of coaching-years, accumulated from one job to another. Does this apply across the board in all sports?

You can buy up to 10 years in the retirement system, of legit out-of-state experience. It is quite expensive.

Mulkey had 15 years as an assistant at Tech and left for Baylor. She will need 5 years at LSU get her's.

That’s not true. You can’t buy “out of state” but you can purchased more time flat out.

I think Verge has 19 years at LSU. He’s desperately trying to hang on for another year.

I'm not 100% sure but I think it's of whatever the state is putting in which is probably something like $300k/yr. It is no chump change, but it certainly isn't $4m/yr or whatever. It may be more for Mulkey.

Are y’all day-drinking?
Those coaches aren’t in TRSL.
What agent would negotiate a seven figure contract to include membership to the TRSL?
Drink some more Beam.
