My friend wants to bring his boys to watch the game (8 and 10). I've never been there. Is this a reasonable idea, bad idea, or not even an option?

reasonable, but I always seem to make really bad decisions at Big Woodrews. Went there for the state game back in 2009 and ended up buying a round of shots for the table behind me. the better half didn't like the $300 bar tab.

It's fine since it's a 2:30 game. It gets a little rowdy at night. Tell him to get there like...now..to make sure he gets a spot.

Woodrow's is huge, two stories. LSU owns Woodrows. I promise you won't be the only table of 8-10 in there. It'll be packed, but it'll be fun. It's where I'd go if I was in Houston.

Its the biggest LSU bar in Houston and imo its not that close. Gets really crowded fwiw, but you are amongst nothing but LSU fans. Use to live in Houston and the only time you will have a good bit of opposing fans is when we play ole piss. They usually there to talk shite.

Not even close to being close

It gets full of Aggies or Longhorns for their big games, but they are nominal in size. Best place in Houston for a Tiger, save for my house.

Great Idea....2:30 game will be fine...people get a lil rowdy for an 8 and 10 y/o in the later hours. Nonetheless, i would bring my kids there for an earlier game.
