If Cordarrelle Patterson is 10 on the juco transfer scale, what is Leslie?

I think this is the wrong question. The right question is: What does Leslie add to LSU's team?

Answer: Size and the speed to beat elite cover corners down the sideline. He should be very effective for us. I think he may be too fast for even Mett to overthrow him.

Has he been cleared yet?

Unclear, but looks promising.

He's gonna be good. I don't know how refined his route running is, but he can certainly run Go Routes all day long and stretch the field.

He's a 1 and done guy if he performs as expected.

That and he can catch the jump ball in the end zone. At 6'4" he'll be able to outjump any corner in the league.

he's bigger and catches more with his hands so he'll be better with jump balls. almost just as fast. Doesn't have his open field elusiveness(who really does). Fast enough (4.45), tall enough (6'4), and great enough hands to reel in Mett's down field over throws.

IMO he has more of the potential of a Justin Hunter and same type of player. I'd give him a 7.5

he's good but nowhere as good as patterson. He wasn't even the best juco WR

Dude is a stud

and yes he has been cleared and is ready to go.

As long as he can get the plays down quick in the fall I see him being instant impact and being a HUGE addition to the offense

If his speed is legit, all those balls that sail 6 inches over the figer tips of our 5'11" recievers on deep balls, will fall right into his hands.

It's only logical

Not necessarily. He'll be aiming higher...

Athletically I agree with you, but Patterson was a body catcher. I want a receiver that brings the ball in with his hands.

So anything less than a 10 on your scale could be a crap shoot of attributes.
