Pat Screen led Jesuit High School of New Orleans to the Football State Championship.

There were two Jesuit High Schools at the time. Now only the New Orleans school exists under that name.

Jimmy Field only lived in New Jersey til he was two. He’s Baton Rouge born and bred. The most underrated LSU quarterback of all time… led the tigers to a cotton bowl and an orange bowl victory

Yes, which is why I included him. He was born in NJ, but raised in BR and graduated from U High. He's Baton Rouge through-and-through. One of his kids even married a McKernan.

Fields would certainly be on the list if BR or EBR HS QBs who earned a football scholarship to LSU.
Rabb
Fields
Lee
Griffin
Rip Collins- U High
Ensminger
Daigle
Loupe
Randall
Scott

Did I miss anyone? I’m sure I did especially when scholarships were not limited and from way back when.

I'd forgotten about Buddy Lee. I think he was from Zachary. He was the QB when I started attending LSU games.
