shite after the bowl game I’m not so sure we get Nuss for 2 years. He has the skill set NFL GMs dream about. He reminds me of Matt Stafford.

I hope the fan base gives this kid a chance to actually develop and don’t just assume your gonna get Daniels 2.0 when he’s a RSfr

2024: Nuss plays big and goes pro

2025: Hurley

2026: Underwood

2027: Underwood

2028: ? athe next great LSU QB

Underwood will be the backup his first year but then he starts the next 2 years and goes pro.

It’s a damn good time to be an LSU Tiger.

It is crazy to say this when the kid has yet to start an SEC game, but if he can grasp the process like he did in Wisconsin, he just might be that good. The most impressive thing he did in the bowl game was weather a rough stretch mid-game and not only recover, but excel in crunch time. That's the shite you expect from a 3rd-4th year starter.

True. The throws he was making over the CB and in front of the safeties to receivers was impressive. He also was letting the ball fly before the receivers were passed their defender on deep throws. All that shows he not only has confidence in his teammates but also his ability to get the ball where it needs to be. Thats qualities that will translate to the NFL because the windows for receivers to catch the ball is much smaller.

This would be optimal IMO

It would mean that Nuss has a great year next year and Hurley is ready to take the reigns as a true sophomore and is good enough to bolt after year 3 paving the way for Underwood to take over in his 3rd year to gel with the rest of the 25 class who should be hitting their stride by then.

Don’t expect Nuss to stick around after next year once he wins the Heisman

Winning the heisman would be great but I don’t think he evens need to do that to be a top pick.

Cannon of an arm. Can throw off balance and can move in the pocket with eyes down field and hit receivers. Able to run a little but doesn’t depend on it. Both around 6 foot 3 215 pounds. Basically the same frame.
