Suprise, surprise, suprise. Roaad disses Lee yet again.
OMFG LEE IS THE GREATEST QB EVAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lee would have led us to an undefeated season the last 2 years.
Fact!
Anything less is just disrespectful of the awesome talent that is Jarret Lee.

Video #1: 3 catches for JJ, 2 for Lee (nice catch on 1 by Shep), drop and bad pass for Mett
quote:The drop was perfectly thrown. JJ's bad pass was, well bad
Video #2: 2 catches for Lee and Mett, and a catch, drop and an uncatchable pass for JJ
One of Lee's passes was a leaping extended catch by Randle. . .
In the first 2 videos, JJ had one bad pass.
Lee had 2, he just got bailed out. Good for him.

i haven't alluded to last year, you ignorant bitch
We did.
That's why it's good to see him hitting all his targets in practice, bcause we will need him again. As we did in the Troy game, the Auburn game, the Tenn game, and the Fla game.
We prefer not to see the Ole Miss, Tenn, Fla, or Arky debacles ever again

lee played solely because he was a pro-style drop back passer when we needed one
we now have another pro-style drop back passer with much more potential and room for improvement
i wasn't against lee playing last year; if he plays this year in front of mettenberger i'll be extremely disappointed

Well this thread turned into "my favorite player vs yours" real quickly.
I think that was the plan. Unfortunately for the player haters nothing concrete is going to come from watching video of a few passes in spring.

I don't give a shite who plays as long as its an improvement over the past three years.

It was still caught.
JJ threw two, THAT NO ONE COULD GET A HAND ON. Out of 9, UNDEFENDED passes. And you don't see yourself as biased, rating him as #1 based on what we saw?
The guy that didn't have a ball dropped was the worst rated QB on the day? That's laughable.

I offered my analysis.
I don't think any QB is head and shoulders above the other.
But if I place a certain player anywhere but ahead of another, some people want to bitch.
I guess it is clear to this kid that Lee was clearly better than JJ in those videos. If he had said that, cool. . .
Instead he went after me. That's a bit different, don't you agree? Read his post.
Nowhere in my OP did I "glow" over one guy, nor did I "diss" another. I just get stuck with a poster who can't stand JJ's name being anywhere CLOSE to ahead of Lee. It drives him crazy.

What is LSU's W/L record in 2010, if Lee starts from day 1. . .and gets all snaps?
If you were to guess. . .

I saw these earlier today and Lee did look the most consistent with JJ right behind. Mett had som errant throws but he is 2 years behind so he'll get their. What's funny is you probably see this from every spring camp and people are acting extra retarded over it in this site.

wtf is with R-Shep?
It seems nobody can get him the ball.

agree. it's gonna take a lot longer than one spring to fix all the crap that crowton did to the team.

In 3 videos, not one pass thrown by Lee that wasnt caught. JJ had two that were uncatchable. Mett had one that was questionable. A few drops, but all were catchable.
Here are the facts for the unbiased:
Video #1: 3 catches for JJ, 2 for Lee (nice catch on 1 by Shep), drop and bad pass for Mett
Video #2: 2 catches for Lee and Mett, and a catch, drop and an uncatchable pass for JJ
Video #3: 2 catches for Lee, catch and a drop for Mett, uncatchable and 2 caught for JJ
Totals:
Lee - 6 for 6
JJ - 6 for 9
Mett - 3 for 6
This.
I saw the same things like you.
Don't know why Roaad dished Lee again, may be he thought JJ was wearing #12 and JL #9 ???

Even Ben Love noticed that the better QB out there was JL but you still put him at #3 ???
AND:
JL was clearly the greatest QB out of the 3 QBs out there on 3/31.

Omg. Some of y'all are stupid. It is one video. The offense will continue to run the ball regardless. At some point I expect we will see all 3. But as long as we run JJ will get most of the snaps.
Posted on 4/2/11 at 5:20 am to Roaad
its one thing to chunk the ball in practice, it is something altogether different when you have a real defense bearing down on you.
Don't make too much of the vids- fun to watch but nothing you make decisions on

About the only thing you can take from those videos is that we need to be wearing those purple practice jerseys in our real games. Those jerseys look great.

I actually watched the video Rivals has up from thursdays practice and it showed the QBs throwing deeper routes, some play-action, and IMO Jordan looked the best out of the 3 in those drills. Also Nic Jacobs, Justin Maclin and Kevin Minter were all beastly in the Big Cat drill.
