That's some awesome cherry picking.

I think what you mean to say is that Jefferson did not play well against Top Three defenses. And yet Lee had as many interceptions against Top Three defenses as Jefferson had all year.

Uh, what? UGA not ringing any bells? Lee had one bad half and got pulled for good. JJ got to stink it up many times with no consequences. What games were you guys watching?

WE COULD NOT RUN AT ALL ON UGA IN THE FIRST HALF. We literally played the best two defenses outside of ours in UGA and Bama. Sure we got the running game going in the second half, but that was after wore them down.

Miles is obviously smarter than you nimrods. He knew Lee folded like an accordion under pressure. It was pretty much useless to even bring him onto the field against either UGA or Bama.

Lee wasn't responsible for being key to victory in any games. That's the whole point. Neither was very good at being quarterback.

I feel like I'm watching a group of people argue about who is hotter out of Eddie Murphy as Mrs. Clump or Martin Lawrence as Big Momma. I mean, I guess its ok to have a preference, but I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here.

Bama's 2011 defense was literally one of the best defense since the turn of the century. it's so fricking funny how y'all can easily excuse the fact that the run game that had led us the whole year, completely stunk it up in that game.

the o-line laid down for the rematch of the century and jefferson played terrible. like he did versus georgia.

JJ seemed to be a head case and sucked. Maybe he didnt like to be coached or maybe the coaches did a bad job but man he sucked.

Jefferson would have been way better with competent coaching...Lee as well. they had very poor coaching at their position and the O line.

that said, how awesome would our team be if Drew Brees was the QB with the other talent?

It was Jefferson's fault that the run game was so bad. Bama stacked the box against Jefferson. LOL

If Lee was in there, his passing prowess would have frightened the gumps and slowed the pass rush. Bama, of all teams, knew what Lee was capable of doing. Bama would have been scurred. LOL

Forget about the fact that when the o-line wasn't jumping offsides, they were whiffing on Bama's d-line.

Forget about the fact that without Jefferson's help, LSU rushed for a grand total of 24 yards against Bama on 1/9/12.

Forget about the fact that without Jefferson's help, LSU rushed for a grand total of 75 yards against Bama on 11/5/11.

I'm not saying Jefferson was a great QB.

He was just better than Lee.

Miles knew it. Studrawa knew it. It was an easy choice pulling Lee and putting in Jefferson.

Well, I think a case can be made that the wheels would have well come off at the time of the 1st Bama game if not for the QB change that took place in that game.

I never said anything bout who should start. I said Jennings was directly responsible for a win as the LSU QB and neither JL/JJ were responsible for a win in 2011. That's all.

Now, as to who will probably start vs. Wis., I think it will be Jennings cause of his time in the program which includes a full yr. as the back up QB and 2 wins he played a role in. I have nothing against Harris, but he hasn't taken the 1st snap in live college play.

what game did JL only have 7.7 net yards after playing the whole game in 2011?

I'll wait for your response.

If they play as well as 2011, and the defense is as good as expected then LSU will be a strong contender for SEC title. The 2011 QB play was extremely efficient when they werent playing Alabama. LSU wont face a defense remotely the caliber of 2011 Bama. I think the QBs are more talented but they will likely go through some growing pains due to inexperience, so I think it would be hard to match the overall efficiency of 2011. Better question might be will they throw it more or less than the 2011 team.

The QB play for the last 3 games of the regular season was even better. Even more efficient TD/Int ratio and even better stats.

But not only was it more efficient the last three games, it was far more productive. It's like the QB was driving a Ferrari instead of a Honda.

One of those games was WKU and another was 2 and 10 Ole Miss!
