I speak lesmilese... this means he will tell anthony that harris is QB1 going forward. And auburn won't know about it until harris trots onto the field.

I'm not sure who will start. I know the world thinks Harris should, but Les is quirky. I do believe Harris will get 80% of the snaps at Auburn. Just hope we have not spotted them two touchdowns before he plays.
I think Jennings will start and will play very conservatively. Harris will get his shot and Les will stay with him if he's the hot hand. LSU will need Jennings this year.

Harris played against MSU because Jennings was hurt. Miles later said he had planned to bring in Harris anyway. (Everyone knows this was BS.)
Harris led the Tigers to two TDs and came close to a miracle Hail Mary on the final play.
Jennings starts again against lowly NMSU and manages to turn the ball over four times in one quarter. Then...AND only then, did Harris get a chance.
Harris leads seven drives and ALL seven end with a Tiger TD.
Harris will make mistakes but he still has far more potential to take this team (this year and in the future) where we want to go.
Unfortunately Miles is hard-headed and never eats crow. I hope this doesn't turn into another Lee & Jefferson episode.

Let's do this anonymously.
Quarterback A.
179 yards passing. 3 incompletions. 74% completion percentage. 5 total touchdowns. 7 straight touchdown drives. 0 team turnovers under his command.
Quarterback B.
2/5. 11 yards. 2 int. 1 fumble lost.
Quarterback C.
1/1. 11 yards. 0 turnovers.
Who do you want on your team?

if i were hc, i would start jennings. i don't want harris to have any pressure knowing he is the starter in hostile territory. if jennings doesn't put points on the board in his first 2 series, then enter Harris. this is the scenario that Harris is most familiar with. LSU wins.

Both guys are wildly inexperienced. And Jennings is under a lot of negative pressure. Harris is hot. Ride the hot hand.

He's obviously gonna start from now on. If Jennings was gonna start vs. Auburn, he would've played in the 2nd half. No reason to stay with Harris unless he's your guy now. AJ simply gave Les no choice. I feel bad for the guy playing like he did, but we can move on now.

If Jennings weren't gonna start against Auburn he would've played in second half so the entire world could see the offense start struggling again and would know that Harris was indeed the spark. This way they can credit something else for the boost in offensive performance that miraculously coincided with the change in QB. Like possibly the band finally got seated from the pregame and started playing or they got the Powerade mixed and set out on the sidelines.

Yes. Harris is WAY better than Jennings.

Jennings's performance last night was one of the worst from an LSU quarterback that I have seen. 2 completions to our team... 2 to New Mexico State.
I don't like ESPN's QBR any more than the next person, but on a scale of 0-100, Jennings QBR was 0.01. Also his passer rating was... -21.5. I didn't even know that it was possible to have a negative passer rating.
I don't think that Miles has a choice, he must start Harris.

Given CLM's comments- don't look for logic to prevail- it's just how we do things.
Looked like a logical comment to me.

This statement I've seen placed out as a fact. How? What will he offer that Harris doesn't have? 2 games with a month to prepare, 3 full games and 1 quarter with a week to prepare. I'm really not sure what better he will offer more than Harris.

Wait til Brandon faces a top notch SEC defense before getting too excited. LSU has two scholarship QB's on roster, one is a true frosh. They'll need both. LSU is two hard sacks away from having a walkon behind center.
I remember how excited everyone was for Jennings after the Arkansas game last year, now look at this board.

So this is the reason we will need AJ? Because he played so poorly against NMSU and MooState?
Da fuq kind of logic is that?

AJ is necessary because he's the only other scholarship QB on the roster. We'll see how Harris plays vs Auburn, it's a lot more telling than playing against what may be the worst FBS team.

Harris did what you're supposed to do to cream puffs. Blow then out of the water.
Jennings was out there fumbling, throwing picks and taking big sacks.

Wait until he has a bad game, people will turn on him. I've been on this board long enough to know how the fans are.
Les isn't going to toss AJ aside. Due to injury or other, he will be necessary at some point this season.
