I think we tend to forget that JJ had the entire season last year and led us to the 112th offense in the country.

He should NEVER play QB again.

Maybe Les and Crowton read it.

Miles and his staff read and listen to all the things said about them.

How much they care? That is the real question. I was told though from a person around the situation they are aware of the praises and criticisms they recieve from different sources.

when did I say JJ was the devil. I just point out his inability to play qb at LSU and the excuses people like you make for his horrendous play.

That being said, I don't blame JJ for the playing time he is getting. When the coach tells him to go in the game, what is he supposed to do? Say, "no coach, I think Lee is playing better...let him get the snaps".

Actually yes! If he was a true team player he would realize he's not getting it done and send Lee in himself. I would actually stand up and applaud him for doing this b/c he would be putting the team ahead of himself!

I would too...I know competitors dont do this usually but at least he could learn to swallow his pride...it would make a better person...

This was said about lee at one time as well.

What is the difference in the two situations? BTW, Lee put numbers up that year. I didn't want him gone...just wanted him to be more careful.

JJ puts up nothing. No offense, no numbers, hell he can;t even get first downs. Instead he turns the ball over in scoring position. At least Lee scored touchdowns when giving up turnnovers...JJ JUST turns it over.

Then add it in the reaction by the player....Lee says he is gonna work harder and try harder and puts the blame on himself.

JJ:

"I played well today"
"WHat do you want we're 6-0"
"Give me time I'm still learning"
"We both put points on the board"

The kid is a cancer, he has no concept about team atmosphere and being the LEADER in that atmosphere. Just look at his reactions on/off the field. It's sad, and I blame that blithering idiot Miles for continuing to put that kid out there.

damn dude...are we related?...

OK, you're being a little dramatic here. In fact a lot of you guys are, really... JJ isn't getting it done this year, nor did he really get it done last year... but I don't think we should stoop to comments like "he should never play QB again." A poster said, a little earlier, that JJ should have time to get away from the situation like JL did. I think this is the truth.

There were a LOT of us (myself included) who were saying the same thing about Jarrett Lee last year (more of us than who are willing to admit it), hoping that he would transfer to McNeese or something... and now look how many people are on his nuts.
