He was all set to come to LSU but the wife put a stop to that. She didn’t want to move the kids far away being it was not for a head coach position.

Baton Rouge is a shithole. Nobody is coming here from any decent market with any decent notoriety. We have to hire risks or has beens. I say risks.

I don’t understand why she would let him come and even interview? Was there a number that would have made them move down here? Otherwise decline the interview or do it virtually

I told y'all the way he handled it last night was a negotiating ploy to get more money. He can say all that bs about it not being about money but that's a lie lol. Notre dame took the bait and ended up giving him a sweeter deal, we didn't. I'm not worried about it. We will get a good coach. Any coach that comes here will have alot of talent to work with and that's what it's all about at the end of the day, recruiting and players. If les miles and ed orgeron winning national titles here hasn't proved that it doesn't take the best coaches to win big here, then idk what does. Let's go get our coach now and get ready for next season. It may well end up being muschamp or steele at this point. Hell, I wouldn't be disappointed if we just promoted corey raymond either. Let's see what happens.
