It was a easy hire, money wise for sure. Firing Les mid season after what he did at LSU ran off everyone from the LSU job. Can O bring LSU to the next level, no chance.

I'm not asking how many other teams you felt were better, but knowing the way college football rankings work, where should they have been ranked before last Saturday?
But anyone who actually watch our games (which the poll voters don't do at all) would've seen the glaring problems and realized that we're not in the same league as Bama, Ohio State, Clemson, etc.
We'll see if we can compete with UGA this weekend.

So speaking the truth is verboten? Must we suppress the truth? Why not have everyone understand it the better to find solutions for what is wrong no matter what it may be. Finally do you think a ranter’s has more influence over recruiting than who is head coach? I do not.

If Alleva survives I bet he promotes Aranda. He's basically paid like a new/unproven HC already why not give him the title too?

Frankly, I am not impressed with Aranda after the Florida game. I went back and looked it up. LSU has had good defenses under Aranda but not great defenses. What makes people think he would be a championship coach?
Jimbo Fisher was the right hire but F ing King Alexander put a stop to that.

I will go you one better. We have problems developing QBs and having an effective offense. Here comes Alleva, I know what to do, lets hire our DL coach who has never worked on a offense. He can then hire a OC he will not like, have to fire him, and then hire a guy who hadn't worked up a game plan in twenty years and who doesn't even want to be an OC.
No chance that shite will not blow up in our face.

Florida was disappointing for the defense. The easy TD before the half and the go ahead late in the game. Those CANNOT happen.

Orgeron hiring then firing Canada says ALL one need know about him as an executive. He is a bad one. That will cost LSU more than a few losses. We have to have a good offense today or there is no chance to win.
