Coaches from Nebraska, Ohio State and Penn State

Let's be clear. Nearly 100% of coaches at every level everywhere are ready to play. These guys are competitors and they are hired to compete and to win. Their mentality is, and should be, all about playing anyone you put in front of them and winning.

However, none of them get to make this decision. Zero.

This will be determined by school presidents. They are hired to do something completely different from a coach. They are to lead their school to be successful academically, financially, and to ensure the safety and well-being of all students and faculty on campus. Their decisions are going to be informed by liability concerns, medical counsel, and a broad spectrum of advisers.

Whichever way you think this thing should go, just know that the coaches and players will have almost no say in this.

Right on!!!!

Players can choose to assume all risks. They are adults. If you want to play, sign the waiver.

I have already opted out of the NFL, cancelled my subscription to ESPN and anything having to do with NASCAR. This is all part of the Democrat/Liberal agenda to decimate the United States. Last thing I have to say about this is, " Get woke, go broke."

I love Coach O, but he is all in with JBE. He won't buck the company line, if Edwards is for cancellation.

Coach O has been advocating for playing for a while now. He did a press conference with Mike Pence on the subject.

Herein lies the issue. Presidents should stick to academics and leave athletic decisions to ADs and coaches.

And THAT just opens the door for the school presidents to go "all virtual". That will be the "out".

They are mostly virtual anyway.

Just make all the football players go virtual. Problem solved.

LOLOL.. Wait. What? You serious? If you dont think there's a few college coaches out there with more power than their president you would so wrong. I guarantee you, at the very least there is one. But im positive that there's more.
