I could see how both would agree to not have one first game and then to have one on the second game.
Purdue was probably cool without one the first game, but probably didn't feel they had enough arms for a potential blowout in the 2nd game with a third game left.

I'm guessing Jay is making the calls at this point. I'm sure the visitors made the call the first couple years but at this point I would expect LSU to have an agreement before scheduling these teams that they're playing 9 innings. Jay may have been fine with 7 yesterday due to weather

actually multiple players date them: curiel, monster, Dickinson and reaves
