I think you’re wanting Benefield to play LBer over Keys, which would make him your 2nd ILB in the 3-4 alignment.
I’m not disagreeing with your philosophy or Benefield playing that role, just pointing out that you absolutely need 2 players playing in that ILB spot if you’re going 5 down linemen.

If this means we rush 4 or 5 with a QB spy then I could get behind that. Baker likes to rush 3 and drop 8 which will get us killed by that AU QB. He did this yesterday too but once they get to our 30 or 35 yd line he would switch to man and bring a little pressure. It worked against a first time starter yesterday but it didn’t work against Chambliss or Minchey.
I don’t mind playing some zone defense against a mobile QB but you have to bring at least 4 and spy the QB.
