I'll never attend another game in Brian Dennehy Stadium because of all the fricking noise. It's unbearable.

It's no wonder that spread/speed teams do so well there because they don't have to really worry about listening to a long drawn out play call in the huddle. Each play has a name like "Brown Right Over 73 Chicago F arrow X curl"( like LSU runs curl routes! ). Spread teams just have an outline and know what to run based on hand signals and what the defense is doing. There is no time to a.) call i in a long drawn out play name and b.) for the P.A. guy to blast your eardrums for 30 seconds or a minute before the QB steps under center.

I fricking hate BDS.

So, the next time you feel the need to scream "get off my lawn", thank your lucky stars you don't have to sit through that 8 times a season.

They could play Hold That Tiger and Hey Fighting Tigers after every damn down and I still wouldn't want to sit through any game in that cesspool.

I hated it. Scott Cochran was the worst.

i'm hoping that has a similar curse effect that the Dan Borne' "please stay off the field" comment had last year.

they celebrated winning the division too soon...

It was SO obnoxious. It was almost nauseating. I'd go insane if I had to sit through that 8 games a year. I thought Tiger Stadium was getting bad. I can't believe the typical Gump fan actually enjoys that much less that screaming idiot will be a "tradition" 10 years from now. I don't think I ever heard the Gump band playing and I was in the lower bowl.
Sad state of affairs for college football indeed.

Where I sat it seemed like it was embraced by everyone. I witnessed older people bobbing their heads to the music. Recruits now days love that type of stuff.

That's why I'm not against it, but I wanted to let our grouchy fans know that it's a big thing for the players. Bama players def feed off that stuff. You could tell.

Guys I will not go back that stadium. That f==king music and yelling would not stop until 15 to 10 seconds left on the play clock. I was there with my son who plays high school football and he was making comments about how long they played the music.
