PSA for LSU folks with "tickets" going to the SECCG who are technologically challenged

Go on and down load your tickets as soon as you can. For some of you I'm sure this was a breeze. But Ticketmaster had me tied to one e-mail and LSU had me tied to another and it was quite a challenge. If downloading to your phone isn't something you are real swift at get someone to help you L-O-N-G before you get to the game.

Ticketmaster makes everything so complicated
It should be a fairly easy process
Also, apparently the ticket you put in your Apple Wallet is not going to have a bar code, so don't freak out
It's still a valid ticket that you scan at the entrance

Do they have nfc readers at the gates? My tickets don't have bar codes but shows the nfc symbol

Putting it in Apple Wallet is a good move. I was at a game in Atlanta once and the cell service was slow (probably because of the crowds). Those that were trying to refresh their screens were having trouble. I downloaded the ticket into my wallet on my phone and had no trouble.

If it doesn’t have a barcode it has tap, similar to how Apple Pay works or the tap on your credit card

According to the website from the confirmation from LSU they will have people there to help. Its just not quite as seamless as they evidently think it is.

try not to stress too much. I even got some IT type folks who were scratching their heads at how cumbersome this was.

I am old and I got mine downlaoded to Apple Wallet in 90 seconds at most.
