Oh I see it’s only manufacturing yards if you compete 4 3rd down throws and march 80 yards.

Like baseball, a run scored to a wild pitch, hit batter sac fly isn’t same run as bunt, bunt, base hit.
Just like golf, there’s no comment section on the score card/board.
All it wants to know is score.

Our offense was not dominant.

That is not even arguable.

And most people around the country who think we dominated just saw the final score and didn’t not actually watch the game.

Luckily for O/LSU and frick for every other organized football teams sake there’s two other units that make up a team and contribute to its sucesss outside the offense.

I just can’t fathom how bad it must suck to have the attitude you have about this team?
Just how miserable of a person are you?

does O get credit for other areas of the team?
Coach O can get credit for fixing special teams, but not the defense. The defense was elite before he got here and it will be elite after his arse is fired. He inherited Aranda and has been smart enough to stay out of his way.

I realize that we’ve resorted to what does and what doesn’t constitute “manufacturing” yards.

As if it matters in the least bit.

Like baseball
If this were baseball, the situation would go like this. Instead of getting hits to get people on base and then hitting the ball to drive those players in, LSU has been relying on bad plays(hit batters, errors, and walks) with the occasional hit to score runs. That's isn't a method you want to rely on because the better teams you have to play don't make those same mistakes.

The offense didn't do it. Which is the point. The offense also didn't do it well against Southeastern.

yeah, because LSU has gotten better rated recruiting classes since Coach O took over... If I remember correctly, he has also missed on a few big time defensive tackle prospects. The only one he has landed is Lawrence.

And just how many penalty yards did we have the first two games during Miles last season or last year Mr encyclopedia sir?

If going from number 14 to 47 to 81 in highest penalty yards per game nationally isn’t improving then tell me what is.

Miami’s QB is not that good. Fortunately neither is 80% of Miami’s schedule.

Yes, you are right. We should all just throw away our tickets, quit watching, and give up on this undefeated team because we played flat against the abysmal SELU. God forbid something positive happen from here on out.

No, they really didn't. LSU only scored on one drive that started from their own territory. That drive ended in a 50+ yd hail mary. The rest of the drives LSU scored on started in Southeastern's territory. Do you really think LSU can keep that up against Auburn, UGA, MSST, Bama, and A&M? Do you really think LSU's offense will consistently get the ball in the opponents territory every game?

No they fricking didn't. Our average starting position was something crazy like the 46. Take the blinders off for a second and realize that isn't a sustainable game plan against supposed top 10 teams. We couldn't sustain drives, as evidenced by the long field goals and terrible 3rd down percentage.

They scored bro.

Sorry it makes you melt in the manner in which it took place.
You’re really sad.
