Well lucky for him he won't have to explain his play much longer.

If he doesn't have confidence after starting 27 games at LSU then he does not belong at the helm. Hope they have him on a short leash. After last year, watching the same type of QB play again will be hard to stomach.

ATL - I gotta agree with you here. We all want some football so bad that too many hang on every word from a player, or even a coach that has six years of saying nothing of meaning to the media at all.

Jefferson has his detractors because of his play on the field. He will change that only by his play on the field. It is that simple, and anyone who is really a Tiger fan is hoping for the best.

We will know in a matter of weeks.

I'm wiping the slate clean with JJ this year. I want to like him and I want to get behind him. I'm going to trust Miles and Krags judgement and believe they know what they are doing. I just hope the three of them don't make me feel like an idiot.

Yes, Tiger fans hope for the best. I knew the QB situation & JJ would dominate the Rant this summer and I'm glad that fall practices finally start this week, so we'll start to hear some actual reports from practice. Another aspect to remember about this whole QB situation is: there is always the chance of injury at that position, so let's hope 2 QB's are ready to have solid seasons. I still would not be surprised if Mett passed Lee on the depth chart before mid-season.
