A few years ago when Ryan Perriloux and a linebacker got in a fight at the Varsity Miles kicked the linebacker off the team pretty much immediately. Why not use the same standard and kick the four involved off the team now?

I never agreed with that... he kicked off the walk-on LB and kept the repeat offender (Perriloux) basically unpenalized

and yes that time was more clear cut

Do you know where the Pearl River is? When you get to it, go about another 75 miles...and you'll be home!

Umm the LB was not walk on. And he was a repeat offender as well.

It's amazing how one simple question can bring out the best in someone.

I'll make you a deal . . . I'll move back once you get all the LSU fans to move back to LA.

Until then Roll Tide from BR.

This situation is slightly different in that Perriloux had already been in trouble multiple times and had his warnings and up until now Jefferson has pretty much behaved himself and is deserving of staying on the team but disciplinary actions will take place no matter the outcome.

Derrick Odom was the well known scholly LB that got the boot with Benton. I thought Benton was a DB, but I honestly don't remember.

Miles made almost $3,000,000 per year at the time.
Perilloux was a needed player.
The linebacker was not.
Miles wanted to continue making $3,000,000 per year.
