What would be a good number to be at for that stat? ~3.5?
ETA: LINK
These are the MLB stats from last year... Seems like that 3.5 would be a good average for LSU...

Our leadoff guy has the lowest. Awesome.

Just being a strike or a fastball doesn't make it a quality pitch to hit.

Yeah the problem with going to the boxscore to look up that is it doesn't tell you if a guy fouled off 3-4 pitches. I have my ideas about who sees more pitches and who doesn't.

he's probably tired from pounding cleat chasers.

Who knows, but since LSU's first two conference opponents seem to be .500 or less conference teams you would like to think LSU would be 4-2 at least against them. Both OM and Hogs seem to be down this year which is unusual.
This game has a must win scenario now. Tomorrow LSU will face a good pitcher. Pigs just flat out beat LSU last night, it happens no big deal. Black Bears stole one from us.
3-3 is not horrible, 2-4 is.
If LSU deserves their ranking, they need to win the next two.

It's not a must win. We are nowhere near that point in the season. And 2-4 isn't horrible. We let one go against OM. But that happens. We'll steal our fair share too.

if this team could hit free throws.... oh wait.

13 I agree it is early, but both OM and Ark haven't looked very good so far. Do you think if LSU is 2-4 after this weekend (and I don't think they will be), that LSU is deserving of a top 10 rank...maybe 15?
Other than Houston who has has LSU beaten that looks good now!
I'm not panicking by any means and have a basketball hangover
Wouldn't most of us be upset with even a 3-3 record at this point in the season. Doesn't mean LSU couldn't be NC's. Maybe OM and ARK are much better than their records indicate... I hope so
This early in the season I do think this is an important game... The Tigers best pitcher against this rag arm, and yes it is baseball so anything can happen.
